Permanent Restriction RTW Work Program (PRRTW)
RTWFL Permanently-Restricted Return-to-Work Program benefits injured workers and saves our clients millions of dollars annually.
Our permanently restricted return-to-work program is proven to save you millions.
Some people say return-to-work programs don’t work. We say they’re right … about most programs. RTWFL’s programs aren’t like most. We help you achieve true cost savings and loss mitigation on your workers’ compensation claims, and at the same time, give injured workers opportunities for successful re-employment.
Many claims’ managers juggle a hefty number of cases—sometimes caseloads in the hundreds. In high-exposure jurisdictions, benefits for these claims can last up to 500 weeks at 66% of average weekly wages (AWW). A percentage of these cases inevitably result in arguments for permanent-total disability (PTD) and lifetime benefits—an even costlier proposition. RTWFL is your consistent time- and money-saving defense tool to assist you with case resolution, saving you money and mitigating losses.
We provide a streamlined return-to-work process to resolve your permanently restricted workers’ compensation claims. We help employers/insureds/TPAs close more long-lasting claims.
Our procedure begins with a Return-to-Work Assessment. On each case, a RTWFL vocational rehab counselor aims to meet with the injured worker (and attorney, if applicable) in person. After the assessment, we research and contact employers one-by-one, sourcing viable permanent jobs. By contacting employers directly, we are able to schedule face-to-face interviews for workers, setting them up for success.
We follow through with employers’ post-interview to ascertain results. Positive interview? We further advocate for your workers, doing everything we can to get the employer to extend a job offer. Negative or sabotaged interview? We know what questions to ask to attain this necessary information.
Your claimant is an injured delivery driver restricted to lifting 10 lbs. A passive return-to-work vendor might supply “leads” for a front desk job, a phone-based position, or a receptionist role—jobs the worker is unlikely to land due to lack of transferable skills. A passive vendor will urge the injured worker to apply and say, “Let us know what happens.” “Call me if you need me.” If you want to achieve results, you need a provider who does more than simply provide job leads.
RTWFL contacts employers directly, advocating for the worker and setting up face-to-face job interviews. By reaching out, we ensure that jobs are available and suitable. In some cases, we make 100+ calls to find a job that meets our criteria! The difference between supplying leads and scheduling interviews is one of the biggest differences between our program and competitors’.
You should never be left wondering what’s going on with your claims.
RTWFL will provide you a lead point of contact on our team to eliminate repetition, frustration, and wasted time. We deliver full documentation, feedback with timely updates.
